he could probably imagine what she was thinking by the expression she gave him.he noticed a slight difference in her tone when she asked about him being nice when his friends weren't around."i guess you could say that"he said siting on ledge of the tower."I'm just tired today and I'm sure your close to hexing me"he said laughing with a normal tone not a being a smart ass tone.

Libby's expression changed with his answer. The venom was back in her voice when she said "That is the wimpiest thing ever. " she snapped at him when he said he was nicer when his friends weren't around. Libby thought that honestly. You shouldn't have to hide who you want to be nice to just because of who your friends are.

She noticed the hurt expression. She sighed Libby was just to nice. "Well I am trying not to be mean but reputation isn't something anyone should worry about." she told him politly. "Reputation is just...well stupid." she said with a shrug. She looked out to the water watching as some of the students were skipping rocks across the water making the moons refelcting ripple.

"when your a slytherin its all you worry about.we have to be on top of everything the best of the best.any lower and are name is disgraced.gryffindor is are biggest challeger"he told her opening up a bit.it was true though there was alot more to being slytherin then just being mean.he thought about what she had said, mabe worrying about reputation was stupid but it was all he had."ok smarty pants what would you do if you liked someone from...a different country"he said changing the word houses to country so she wouldnt get any hints."and your friends didnt like that person because they were different and not like you what would you do?".

"Well that is why I am not a Slytherin. I don't care if I am on top of everything. Or being best of the best." she told him with a shrug. Libby continued to gaze out towards the lake. She loved it wanting now to go out there and swim. She just might later actually. She looked back at Ian when he asked her the question "Well if they are really my friends they shouldn't care about who I am like." she answered. And that is how Libby saw things. If someone was truly her friends they shouldn't care who she likes or anything. She then looked back out to the lake.
